BehindThePeloton was established early in 2019 by a group of cycling enthusiasts. Having kept up with all major cycling events for the past decade allows us to write ever increasingly accurate race previews for cycling races.
At BehindThePeloton we try to combine race-factors such as route and weather with more ‘soft’ factors such as rider form and/or team tactics to come up with accurate predictions of how a race will play out.
Even though we all participate in cycling betting with various bookmakers, we tend to exclude this aspect from our previews as we want to keep these focussed on the race itself. Of course you can use the information from our race previews to compose your own bets. Also, as good odds arise and disappear with different bookmakers almost real-time, it is impossible to keep these up-to-date on our blogs. Therefore, if you want to know which riders we are backing for each race at which odds, keep an eye on our Twitter account where we publish this information regulary.
